    • These trainings are funded by CDCR DARS. All individuals who are not working under a DARS contract will be billed $50 per training day.

  1. Introduction to Addiction and Criminality

    Contact Hours: 32

    Topics Covered:
    Epidemiology of substance abuse disorders, evidence-based treatment models and modalities, risk and vulnerability factors, the process of addiction, understanding the brain, classes of psychoactive substances, understanding the criminal justice system, the typology of criminal justice clients, and general understanding of ethics in treatment.
