We support those working in various capacities within recovery-oriented systems of care, by way of training, curriculum development, technical assistance, continuous quality improvement, program needs assessment, specialized symposia, and team-building strategies.

Join us for the 42nd Annual Summer Clinical Institute, June 4-5, 2013, on the University of California, San Diego campus in beautiful La Jolla. This annual conference offers lectures and workshops that feature UC faculty and other experts that share their field experiences and perspectives on substance use disorders and related public health issues.

International Trainings

Dr. Koutsenok's January 2013 Hong Kong Training

In January 2013, Dr. Igor Koutsenok, Center Director, provided a training for the Institute of Advanced Allied Health Studies in Hong Kong entitled: "Motivational Interviewing: Motivating and Empowering Patients Make Sustainable Positive Changes". There were over 30 mental health counselors and occupational therapists in attendance of this highly interactive training, and their feedback was overwhemingly positive.
